So what are the alternatives for enthusiasts who are still convinced that Media Center on a Windows PC is the best solution for the living room? I tried this earlier waiting the twenty minute; received the media center error message but the setup[ still crapped out at the downloading local program data stage 6. Any ideas? In the interim, having a list of acceptable zip codes would be a huge assistance for other people in the community who are running into this issue. Once setup has completed you will need to select "Let me configure my TV signal manually" per the instructions below: In Windows Media Center select the following: Task Settings TV Signal Needless to say, I am still missing some Canadian channels on my "US" WMC setup.
