Reply Jeff July 27, 2015 Anyone found the zip that works in the Portland, OR area??? I went through a variety of debug steps which did not resolve the issue. ROVI left the Shreveport area channels out of the list for my zip code so WMC only scanned for the Longview and Tyler stations. I have tried removing reinstalling media center, re-running setup with a dozen different zips, tried running that update from task manager, tried changing to a different provider and back and I
I commented those out and tried again after rebooting with no success. Installing the Windows 10 Preview disabled Media Center, and Microsoft has confirmed that it will not be available in Windows 10 :-(. somehow managed to free-up 500 gigs of hard drive space that was being gobbled up by invisible media center recordings that were undeleteable. So do what I did and you should be ok but updating windows if you do make sure the media center is working each time.

Reply Cameron Fuller July 25, 2015 It may be worth trying one of the zip codes for another area to see if that will work at least for some of Hdhomerun Prime Windows Media Center Tuner Not Found I can pull 2 more from a different direction - same distances. Mine was disabled from program features first, re enable, then tried zip's! Great work.

If you don’t have a strong signal for a TV channel in Media Center: You might not have access to that specific channel. I tried scanning for more channels -- and 20 were found which all looked to be digital (ending in DT). The user can recover a corrupted Guide data store back to the last known good state by running a Windows Media Center task from Task Scheduler. 1.Close Windows Media Center. 2.Open After finding the main fix for the guide, I had problems with 2 of the local channels in the South Bend IN area. Open Media Center again and see if it works. “Invalid TV format” issue in Media Center: Change the channel and see if this helps. If you are subscribed to the cable company and you know you should have access to that program then try calling them to fix this issue. I am right between three major cities, but my zip only populates the channels for one city. I'm running Windows 7 MC.
