Delete the Skype add-in in IE and Firefox and the "cannot clear clipboard" error after a drag and drop goes away when IE and/or Firefox are running. Check This Out Otherwise, if the issue only occurs in the clipboard you mentioned, please provide the exact name of the product. The only thing that I do know about this problem is that something somehow keeps copying empty information to the clipboard several times in a second. Thought maybe if I upgraded to IE9 it would help, it didn't. It did allow me to copy and paste. Paste Option Disabled In Windows 7 I about pulled allmyhair out on this damn problem.
