When you say you enter system recovery, do you mean Safe Mode? oh, and i also tryed running ERD 2005 and use system restore but when i click system restore, it doesn't respond.

REALLY TRY to make do without the Logitech drivers since they repeatedly have stubbed their toe over this too many times.Of course, my view on this may be skewed. It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the flash drive.

This, however, did not solve my problem, and I recently did a system restore, which usually enables my mouse and keyboard to work temporarily, however this time it did not. I've resolved the issue. I thought it was some other software that I installed, and ran a restore session, but that wasn't the issue. By default, it will pick one for you, but you can choose a different one if you like.
