When you say you enter system recovery, do you mean Safe Mode? oh, and i also tryed running ERD 2005 and use system restore but when i click system restore, it doesn't respond.

REALLY TRY to make do without the Logitech drivers since they repeatedly have stubbed their toe over this too many times.Of course, my view on this may be skewed.
