I upgraded Office 2003 to Office 2007 yesterday, on my office laptop and learned today that my spell checker was no longer working in Outlook 2007! Randy Thanks for the info. mean ? Mitch The Solution for me was to ensure the proofing tools had be installed in the first place, Add/Remove Programs > Office 2007 Ent > Change > Proofing Tools > Run Nothing else did. This should hopefully fix the spell checking issue. If I type between header and footer it will NOT work, but outside of it, it works perfectly. Well the final paper is due in two weeks and trying to review a 30 page paper for spelling errors is beyond tedious. I suspect some registry entry has become corrupted. I first used the recommendation by removing English and then Adding English (Austrailia).
