I've had a ticket in to MS since 7/26 and no response. I just emailed Microsoft customer service (from the link you provided) for a possible answer to my problem. If MS ever wants Media Center to catch on like it should, they've got to work out bugs like this before unleashing them on the unsuspecting public.

Thanks for your help.

Use a freeware program like EventGhost, and you can even use a MCE remote with it.There's also MediaPortal, which shares its origins with XBMC, and Boxee is an up and comer.
