Windows Xp Sp3 Mouse Not Working

Already tried a vx revolution (in my post)... When I look in Device Manager, the only mouse detected is the standard PS/2 mouse... I can never keep it short... I use this mouse for EVERY SINGLE new build for everyone other than myself (as I just use my own mouse). If you really want to find out if the problem is hardware or software, there is no better way than booting a different operating system. Loading... The issue can also be caused by the ACPI of your BIOS. The KB which is PS/2 of course works fine...i might have a usb to PS/2 connector but i believe it is PS/2 to usb....il check now... were loaded.6.

I tried another keyboard, which the system detects just fine, but I don't have a wireless mouse, and the keyboard seems to freeze too, as using tab, etc, won't work.
