Windows Xp Sp3 Screensaver Not Working

I called Office Max (where I purchased the items) but did not get a response from their tech person. Dell Media software. It has been creeping up on me. It seemed that if I closed 1 of my open applications, then the screen saver would function normally. Add to Favorites Search Forums Advanced Search: New Posts: Today's Posts: Go to Page... I transferred my settings and documents and for now I'm done.

Screensaver previews work fine, but the system won't start them on their own. We rarely turn off our computers. The Microsoft software is not known to cause issues with the screen saver. It seems that Microsoft only wants money and let users in the least what is not correct.

I originally had it set to kick in after 25 minutes ( I usually leave my PC running rather than keep switching it off and on) and have today tried different My Bios setings use S3 power saving feature, which turns off almost everything.   • My computer, on first start, still does not retain it's power management settings, which is very dangerous as I am worried about screen burn-in.
  • In the beginning there was the command line.
  • Power settings put the computer in standby after 30 minutes.
  • The issue has been forwarded to the relevant developer and he would get in touch with you (via Technet), if required.   Thanks for trying XP SP3, Appretiate it.
