Windows Xp Update Center Not Working


Search for a phrase like "Windows update problems" or "Windows 10 update" and see what latest news results Google has. should i try to get ie8? You can turn off the Windows 10 automatic updating. It shouldn't be necessary but maybe with SP3 on it you might get further with updates. Very confusing for me, so, can someone help me?

Now back in the command prompt type "net start wuauserv" Open windows update and check for updates. i show sp3 in my add remove section, but not in my system info. Could not rename the folder but just went to CP and disabled automatic updates then re-enabled them.

Riider, i have no idea if my system was corrupt, but, i did run antivirus, Microsoft essentials. If you are running IE8, try resetting your browser by following the directions on the link below... when i do a recover, i reboot, click f10, and use the recover partition that is still there.
