I have different set ups (HDMI and Optical...as I only have two Optical inputs on my receiver) so I tried my 360 audio through both Optical and HDMI. Hint to Microsoft: Sony seems to be on top of it; my PS3 has no problems operating in Dolby Digitial 5.1 surrond in HDMI. And you are seeing that.The TV is supposed to strip 5.1 and output 2-ch audio from HDMI sources, by design.
